The Service is an experimental, non-commercial project provided free of charge, with no commercial obligations. The Operator does not operate a business in connection with the Service.
The Service relies on a large language model (LLM), which is a probabilistic system. By its nature, such a system has the following limitations:
Users use the Service entirely at their own risk. The Operator accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of generated Diagrams or for any harm resulting from errors in the AI model. Before using any Diagram in a decision-making process or formal documentation, it should be reviewed and verified by a human.
The Service is provided as-is. The Operator makes no guarantees regarding continuous availability or fitness for any particular purpose.
By using the Service, the User agrees not to include personal data in prompts — including names, identification numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or financial data — and not to use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, for automated mass request generation, or to submit content that infringes the rights of third parties or contains trade secrets or confidential information.
The Operator does not review prompt content in real time. The User bears sole responsibility for any content they submit.
The User acquires unrestricted rights to use generated Diagrams — they may copy, modify, use commercially, and publish them without any restrictions from the Operator. The Operator asserts no copyright over Diagrams generated from User prompts.
The Operator reserves the right to anonymously store prompt–diagram pairs for research purposes and to improve AI models, in accordance with the Privacy Policy below.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator accepts no liability for the accuracy of generated Diagrams, interruptions to Service availability, data loss, damages arising from use or inability to use the Service, content submitted by Users, or the actions of third-party AI model providers or hosting infrastructure providers.
The Operator may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
The Operator reserves the right to update these Terms. The updated version takes effect upon publication at /terms. Continued use of the Service following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The data controller is the individual operating the BPMN Generator service. Given the non-commercial and experimental nature of the project, contact details are not publicly listed.
| Category | What exactly | Form |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt content | The process description text, automatically anonymised before storage — email addresses, phone numbers, national ID numbers, and VAT numbers are stripped and replaced with placeholders | Anonymised text |
| Generated diagram | The sequence of BPMN operations in JSON format describing the diagram structure | JSON |
| Timestamp | Date only (YYYY-MM-DD — no time of day) | Date |
Data is collected to analyse Service quality and to build training datasets for improving AI models (prompt–diagram pairs).
The legal basis is the Operator's legitimate interest in improving the tool and its underlying models. Because the data is anonymised prior to storage, it may not constitute personal data under applicable privacy law, in which case that law may not apply.
Consent is expressed by accepting these Terms at first launch of the Service.
Every prompt is transmitted to an external AI model provider in order to generate a diagram. That provider may be located outside the European Economic Area. The Operator has no control over the privacy practices or data retention policies of the AI model provider.
The Operator may change the AI provider at any time without notice. Regardless of the provider, the same principle applies: do not include personal data, confidential information, or trade secrets in your prompts.
Anonymised records are retained for 12 months from the date of collection, after which they are permanently deleted. Due to anonymisation, identifying and removing a specific User's records upon request is not technically feasible.
The Service stores in the browser's localStorage the User's conversation and diagram history (kept solely on the User's device and never transmitted to the server), interface theme preference, and confirmation of Terms acceptance. The Service does not use cookies. localStorage can be cleared at any time through the browser's developer tools or settings.
Where applicable privacy law grants them, Users may have the right to access, delete, or object to the processing of their data. Due to anonymisation, the Operator cannot identify which server-side records belong to a given User, making access and deletion requests technically unenforceable on the server. Local data can be deleted by the User directly at any time.
When material changes are made, the document version will be updated and Users will be prompted to re-accept the Terms on their next visit.
